I see berried females from time to time. Also the baby shrimp will pop up as well. Not sure if the babies survive or not. They seem to disappear. There's too many places for the shrimp to hide. I've cut down on feeding. If I want to see all the shrimp out the best way is to feed. Below is a pic of one of the openings they go in & out of. The other is of the exit for the power head that is not being used. The back is completely filled with lava rock, live rock, and a sponge filter. I see the shrimp going in and out all day long through these openings.
