How did you learn that? Is there a nontoxic way to test? This is a little scary.
AnnThanks for telling me!

Don't worry!
I learned this trough the msds sheets,
You need to ingest so so so much of this stuff to *maby* have an temporary increased risk of cancer it's really nothing to worry about.
The effect is much smaller than things in your daily life like : eating toast/fries, peanut butter, car exhaust, etc etc
If you smoke it's nothing absolutely nothing compared to that.
It's like comparing an atom to a house lol

I never wanted to make you scared, these substances are being fed in MASSIVE amounts to mice which then have a small increase in incidences of tumors, remember. These are not humans they are mice, just don't drink the stuff that's all

There is this fundamental thing in toxicology which states "the dose makes the poison"
I would classify most household products as relatively safe.
The media likes to make a really big deal out of stuff etc.
You've probably heard of BPA and that it causes cancer and whatever...
The media is overreacting to it.
In the dose we get it in our daily lives no/VERRYYYY small effects will occur.
Don't worry about all this stuff.
Don't smoke, exercise, eat healthy

Oh, okay. Electrified fences down. I just worry about my other pets. All testing done in the powder room.
