Upgrading tank dilemma

So im looking to upgrade my breeder tank from the 67litre to 140litre, this one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262272431224? ... EBIDX%3AIT

The price is amazing for an optiwhite tank but the only issue is it has no lid, i can buy a glass tank lid that sits on 2 runners eitherside of the tank but that leads me to the next problem, if the lid is in place then there is no part of the tank for any lights to be attached. I suppose i could hang some lights from the ceiling but i really don't want to be doing this. Has anyone got any ideas?

I was going to say run it topless and do an auto top off system but I guess not everyone has an RO system.

An alternative is to get a custom top cut and use a clip on support system like http://excelaquarium.beamswork.com/en/g ... older.html. That way you still get the minimalist look but limit evaporation and save money on bottled water.

Thats cool! I saw these too.

Having a custom cut lid will be the way forwards then.

The RO evaporation thing shouldn't be an issue as i keep 75litres of the stuff in 3 big containers, next issue.... how do i find the baby shrimp to move them that just hatched
