Get rid of copepods and other tiny crustaceans?

Do you guys care when the pod population increases and if so, do you have a way to control their numbers? I know they are pretty harmless, but I don't like seeing so many in the aquarium.

Do you have any footage or photos? I know they are TINY but thought I'd ask. I never seem to have many in my tanks? I have a handful that bob around in the light at the surface of my tank but they all disappear for ages then come back?

They really are tiny. So hard to shoot without a fast macro lens.

Do you they look like this? Like Odin said, they go away. The population varies and I currently have very little at the moment.

In my fresh water planted tanks I would just put a couple of fish in to chomp them up, but I didn't see any brackish fish that wouldn't also eat our preciousessssssss.

One way to get rid of it is to shine a bright flashlight on top since they are attracted to light and use gravity/straw method to suck them up.

Just a thought. Since boiling water will match the aquarium temperature pretty quickly, what are you thoughts of sucking up boiling water with gravity & a straw and release right where they hang out and making sure no Opae Ula are nearby? to heat them to death
