Opaeula are magic, but neocaridina are the queen of shrimp tanks. Easy to keep, easy to breed, supports a wide range of parameters. I have four tanks with different neocaridina varieties. Let's start with blue ones:
Crossing different neocaridina varieties loses coloration in the next generation. But you also get some curious individuals. Like this ones, mixed blue/black/brown:
I've noticed some neos have the light stripe down their backs, i have some on my red cherrys but im not 100% sure where it comes from as its not on all of them.
