Thanks for the share, how big do they get @opae ula related ? When shrimpmart sold them he sold normal size and extra large ones. Are they the same or do they have different species?

Snails? I measure the largest around 13mm. I bought some and I got some for personal use was the Theodoxus Neglectus one. I recently got the Nerita Picea species, the ones in that recent video.

For those that will purchase Pipipi snails, request the Thedoxus Neglectus snails. The true Pipipi snails Nerita Picea don't do well in brackish tanks. From my experience, they like to hide above the water line (can escape if you don't have a tank cover or have a gap between the cover and tank) and have low survival rate. Most of mines became Opae Ula food. :omg:

Got out of hand.

as noted in the video, after two months they all didn't survive in brackish water and became food for Opae Ula or Hawaiian Dwarf Hermit Crabs or thrown away. :sad2:
