Thank you! :) I've always used API master test kits but I'm sure other liquid test kits may be just as good.

I'm hoping for some larvae in the next week or so too hopefully.

Great news! Looks like they really enjoy being in a big tank. I noticed that opaeula are quite active, not a good candidate for tiny overcrowd containers. What is your salinity and temperature? I see 2 different types of macroalgae any one originated from Hawaii?

Thanks! They really do seem to be enjoying all the free space  I have one type of macro algae and I'm not really sure what type it is if I'm being honest lol, I'm running 1.013SG and the tank is 22 Deg C on one side and around 23-24 C on the other near the heaters.

Here are a few shots from the 25th up to this point, I believe the mother has released all of the larvae now. I'm slightly worried about the water drops forming on the glass lid because as they get so big and drop down to hit the water they really come down with some force and id hate for it to kill or damage a larvae so I'm going to have to change something. I cant remove the lid as the Nerites will escape so I'm going to try and fill the tank up a bit more by slowly adding more brackish water and see if that helps.

just a quick update, I have topped up the tank some more (around 15-20 litres or so) and I'm feeling much happier about the situation with the falling water drops from my lid. Only problem i ran into was the salt wouldn't completely dissolve as it was pretty solid in a block from air exposure even though it was sealed in a cooking Tupperware box!? i mixed the salt and left it 24 hours before adding it to the tank and i left the sediment in the bottom of the buckets although a small amount got in the tank, it should disappear over time I suppose.

I noticed that the biofilm is still getting thicker on the tanks surface too, the shrimp seem to like it though so I'm going to leave it alone.

The larvae are all free swimming now (all 12 of them) and the mother has been spotted without any baby's hanging on, heres a quick photo and video but excuse the quality

Edit: Just reuploaded the video above because i didn't realise I muted my talking on it

So today i topped off my breeder tank with fresh RO because of the evaporation and took a few photos of the xmas day larvae which should turn into full on shrimps next week (all 13 of them from what i have counted). Then I noticed another berried mother turn up   First berried mom of this new tank setup, the larvae are doing well and shrimp are getting berried so I'm pretty confident the water condition is good.
