New keep here. I have had my shrimps for 3 days now. The few that were transparent started to gain some red yesterday. This morning I have woke up to this in the jar, is this a dead shrimp or is this what is left behind after they have molted?

That is a moult and looks a healthy one, very standard for them to do this when introduced to new tank parameters.

When they are established, next time you see a moult you may get eggs if lucky and the shrimp are at least 8 month + old.

The molt was so intact I thought it might be a dead shrimp, amazing to see.
However I noticed the shrimps go a bit active in the evening thought this might be normal for them and then yesterday from researching I thought I caught to shrimps coming out from under the rocks in the act 🙈
Turns out I did catch them red handed as this morning I got a glimpse of a berried shrimp coming out from under the rocks and quickly going back in 🤰🏻 🤗
I assumed it takes a little while for them to adjust in a new place before they start mating.
See if I can get a pic or vid of her in the eve to show you as that is when they decide to all come out.

Oh yes
I tried counting and defo 10+
I literally screamed with joy seeing her this morning... my teenagers think I have gone crazy but my 7 year old congratulated me
Is it normal for one of the shrimps to be completely transparent? We call that one casper.
This one seems to be very jumpy compared to them all, swims around as normal but when going into something like a shell or rock head on he/she literally jumps back as if it is spooked
