Have you noticed if the ML’s eat anything off of the sponge filter, or are they just hanging out?

I feed frozen blood worms, brine shrimp, live brine shrimp, and some flakes. Since I do feed there's a need for filtration I believe. I'm very pleased with these shrimp but they do tend to hide in the rocks.
Man, they are well feed. Berried?

I never see them picking at anything on the sponge. Just hanging out on it. No berried right now but I've seen molts.

Looks like in no time you will see berried ones.

I'm hoping they don't berry. I'm not prepared to even try to transfer & raise the you. Maybe in the summer when more tanks get set up.

Quick question:

Has anyone thought about Metabetaeus larvae feeding on Opae Ula larvae with that spear?

Possibility. Is it a larva after the molt stage?

Yeah, as you know the spear appears after the first molt. That would be amazing to see it use the spear to catch prey. : )
