Different sizes of Plankton.

picoplankton that measure less than 2 micrometers,

It would be most awesome to have a video this close! But I realize it would be very shaky :nerner:

Sure, it was actually a screenshot of the video.

It has been berried since 5/22/19 ( when I saw it ) and today is 31 days+ and they still look the eggs and not early developed larvae so I am thinking this might be a second batch or maybe it takes longer to develop.

As the eggs mature towards the end, you can see the larvae tail start to come out, the egg become less dark looking as that part becomes the head

It’s been almost 3 weeks since I’ve had a good look at my berried M/L, she came out of hiding today and is acting strange. She is staying on a fake plant in the center of the tank and bending her body as if she is trying to molt or something. Does anyone with experience know if this is normal or is the shrimp in distress?

Here is a picture of the berried shrimp, she seems to be carrying many eggs.
