The Opae ula shrimp Forum and online store

This morning I noticed almost all of my M/L shrimp were out and socializing. They were walking over each other without the usual popcorning that they normally do when they come face to face or close to each other. I also noticed a fresh molt, so I’m guessing some sort of scent must have been released by a molted female which caused this ? I also spotted a second berried female, but she was only carrying 3 eggs which were not fully developed.

Yeah, doesn’t happen often that they dont popcorn out. Most logical is scent, but could be a sound or visually seeing the molt/ molting.

At least you know you have at least 2 females.
