That is interesting & I understand what you mean when the switch kicks in. I have a fan in my bathroom that keeps going off. I though it was defective but it seems that it's sensing the condensation. problem is it's always going off & on. Seems to be way too often.

Yes this function is pretty useless in my opinion.

I'm just going to go with my gut here and seal all the joins in the shed with silicon, install a wooden skeleton frame and insert thick foam insulation,. Then line the floor and roof and walls with a breathable membrane and install a self emptying dehumidifier.

The only issue i may have is the dehumidifier emptying my tanks so i may seal the lids on the tanks... hmmm wounder if i could lay a layer of the breather bag plastic over the top of the tanks to let CO2 out and oxygen in but keep the water from being sucked out.

Macro algae is out of control in this tank lol.... nature is doing its thing at the moment.
