I use these: http://www.thegoldfishbowl.co.uk/shop/h ... ld-heater/

And

These but larger: http://www.tropco.co.uk/aqua-one-glass- ... -2155.html

I haven’t had any issues yet, I’m looking into getting something that will email me if the tank temperature gets too high or low. I want it to be basic and cheap... I’m not paying hundreds for a ready made product :)

Isn't the weather fine where you are? Do your water get too cold? I would think you're fine here in CA.

Not quite there yet. This is the weather this week.

Where are your tanks? in the house?

Mine is an issue since all are in the garage except for 2 jars
Yeah, indoors but not warm enough to maintain 70’s yet. Last yr’s weather was warmer this time of the year. Southern CA is always warmer.

Why go for gold when you can use platinum :what: https://www.aquael.pl/en/produkty/aquar ... um-heater/

It says: "...do not have any mechanical contacts or other wear-prone moveable parts. This guarantees a long, failure-free service life...".
This brand is tough to find in the US. :(
