Interesting. I tested SIO2 today and got fairly high numbers. I double-checked and even tested the RO water.
The RO is below 0,1. The tank water is a little bit over 2.
But there is still only extremely tiny amounts of diatom in sight. If at all.

I mean Opae Ula don't live in reef tanks but it is interesting to me.

I had the strangest dream tonight. I dreamt that I put some Opae Ula in a tiny bowl and placed them on the floor in another room. The next day they were massive in size and looked totally different. They were about 10 cm in length and had many colours. They could walk on land very fast! There was also a massive seashell that could bloom and had a massive and beautiful eye!

Check out my new tank lid. It has a cut out for air to circulate.

I like it. Now I can't take a sip anymore. But the whiskey stays fresh.
