Thanks guys!

The round "knobs" are to keep the lid in position. It would slide into the water without. It‚' not really a "cutout" as I wrote - there is one segment that was "cut away"!

I honestly don't know what it cost > it was a gift :blush:

Got some Chaetomorpha today. Let's see what I can do with it :grin3:

PS: I also noticed that the water temperature is now plus 1 ° C with the lid on!

Yup the temperature will go up slightly with a lid and you will get all sorts of condensation and dust on it, its still worth having and it also keeps the Nerite snails in too!

The diatom is coming now. Some Air bubbles here and there.

Algae are starting to grow :grin3:

Also some of my algae balls let their hair grow :sidesmile: I guess they need some rolling action.

Looks good! Ive read in places that they don't grow in brackish but i've also seen others having much success with them too, thanks for the share and keep the updates coming!. :wink:
