I have a twelve litre setup with four opaeula, one is berried but I want a little tank, so have bought a 1 US gallon size glass bowl from Tesco, which they called a vase, lol, and a bag of coral sand, some shells to hide in and under, some lava rock and a plastic fan.

Photo for interest

Pretty cool! You could use it as a Opae Ula lamp and hang it from the ceiling

Will you order the new Opae from here?

PS: Don't forget to rinse the sand or it could get very hazy :ninja:

Lol nice lamps hehehe. Yes I hate it when the water clouds up with the coral sand. Thanks, I will give it a wash.
I think I will seed it with some substrate and lava rock from the existing tank.

I guess they do! I had this kind in my tank once but it just didn‘t fit. So I took it out.

I always wanted real plants in there and tried two fern types but they didn't make it.

Thanks, I just like the idea of having a bit more colour in there.

The macro algae helps remove the Nitrates and keeps the water quality good, means you will get higher chances of breeding.
