They must have a way. Wonder if the original ones in 1999 are still there, if so that makes at least 20 yrs old!

I always have thinked that the failure of the ecospheres its due to his size, in a larger water volume its totally plausible a self substaining ecosystem

Woah that's pretty cool actually! Sealed in 1999. 20 years old and still going strong as it seems. There is even a little algae on the glass if I interpret this correctly Do you think they have a magnetic scraper in there

Mine only cost about $ 40 for about 5.5(?) gallon / 21 l. That price is mad...

No new tank for me. If I can go back in time then I would gotten it. : )
