I just thought I would post here to see what the community thought about this recent purchase I made off of Reddit AquaSwap.

I purchased 300+ Ramshorn snails from a seller for $26.

They shipped it USPS Priority mail. All 300+ snails were stuffed in a USPS Small Flat Rate box. To top it off it had leaked during shipping. All the snails were actually in a zip lock bag. Upon opening it you can tell the snails were dead. The stench of dead snails is pretty foul. The paper towel was stained a light pink from the snails blood. I stuck them in a bowl. I could tell they were all dead.

So both the buyer & I have reported this to the moderators. The buyer has gone as far as modifying her invoice to state that I have to report any DOA's within 2 hours or delivery. The thing is it wasn't there when she sent it. So to prove this I took a video of me opening my PayPal account and opening the invoice. It clearly shows these wasn't anything there. I then posted it on Youtube with a link for the moderators. Take a look. Who's in the wrong? I want my money back. The buyer won't refund me.

I;m trying to clear this issue with the Reddit moderators.

I paid through Paypal & have already filed a dispute. Reddit wanted photos so I posted my experience here. The buyer had sent me a Paypal invoice without any terms or conditions. Then she lied and modified her invoice. She lied to Reddit. I showed them proof the invoice did not state proof of DOA within 2 hours of delivery. Besides it was in a protected mail box and temps were in the 60's. It was probably in there 4-5 hours.

If they fight this then you will just have to wait for PayPal to give you the money back which they will.

They don’t look to be packaged very well either, id of done things differently.

Yes extremely poor packaging. I'm waiting to see what the moderators of Reddit will say. I sell tons of snails. I'd say at this point over 80k in the last 2+ years. I would say 75% trumpet snails and 25% pond/bladder snails. Here's a pic of 2500 I just packed up and dropped off this past Sunday.
