i feel it's different from the thread you posted.

https://www.amazon.com/Tourmaline-Miner ... B01KMZLISK

basically it does the following (a copy n paste):
Tourmaline mineral ball - slow releasing mineral so that it will not suddenly affect ur water quality.

Benefits:
1. Assist shrimps and crayfishes in molting
2. Enhance your pets colour
3. Stabilise pH of water
4. Enhance the survival rate of your pets

Ahoy! I was thinking about that some weeks ago too and did some research. I decided not to place them in my tank because Opae Ulas apparently do not need them because of the brack. It's more of a sweet water thing I guess. Some even reported animals dying after using them in brack. Well that's that. :grin3:

i have not read about pets dying due to it, maybe the user did not wash the item before putting in tank. will consider whether to put again after they arrived!

the post is editable only within a time frame (not sure how long) which is very short, should be within 1hr or lesser.

Oh, ok. That's strange, I've never noticed that...

Just gave it a try :what: It's true. I've just overlooked that feature.
