Tada.. here is my new 60litre tank set up.
@tzg see the rocks that I've gotten from you on the right  .
Unfortunately the big lava on the left only sinks sideways. Gonna get some weights and attached to the bottom to make it sit upright.

=Salinity is at 1.012
=Water is slightly cloudy, hopefully it get clearer tomorrow.

-Any advice how long should i wait to do the water test?
-12hours of light during day time and that is sufficient?

Kindly enlighten me on any other advices

This looks brilliant, lovely rocks too... i have always preferred the look of ocean rocks in tanks myself. If you have loads of test solution then why not test a couple of times a week and make a chart? Just be sure if you use a liquid test kit you don't put the test tubes in the tank directly to collect water for use and contaminate your tank.. get a syringe and pull your water out to test.

Yeah I'm enjoying the new tank process too.

Really no plamts you can use other than the brakish macroalgea which to me is just thicker hair algae. I have it nbut noth that fond of it.I personally want to keep my tank bare and simple. Not the ones I have but the next one I build. Really no plants so as I've said in the past. Keep it simple and the Opae Ula will thrive.
