I see a few female ML with eggs. As soon as I disturb the tank all the ML almost instantly dissapear. I think the best time to catch is when I feed. I don't feel like tearing the tank down & still not ready right now to try to raise the larvae. Maybe a week or two I'll try.

Good luck! What if a black net compared to a white net makes a difference when trying to catch them with food.

Hi all,
Hope everyone is well. It’s been a while since the last post on lohena breeding attempts. I am wondering whether any of you who have the lohena manage to successfully breed their larvae to adulthood

I didn’t try either. Too much going on in work and life 😬. I started out with six but only 3 remain now, one male and two female. The females berry almost constantly but none survive.

Do you know why they died? How often you feed them?

I think I overfed them. There was a time I went crazy feeding them live brine shrimp. Watching them hunt down the live brine shrimp was really fun. But I think Lohena are like dogs, they will keep eating when they see food, even though they are already stuffed.
