I did a 30% water change with the instant ocean sea salt and acclimate to SG 1.014. Only one survived and seemed to have molted successfully. It went into hiding for a few hours and appeared very much paler than before and stayed dormant for hours. It looked much redder now. Thinking if I can order new shrimps and have them added in soon or should I wait for the system to stabilize first?

I would continue to do water changes until you are rid of the bad salt in your tank, if the sole one lives over the next few weeks i would then deem it safe and put another 20 odd in.

Updates! I got another 15 shrimps and now they are all doing okay! I set up another small 2L tank for the new comers and another 20% water change before introducing them into my main tank. It’s been 2 weeks and now they are all doing okay and actively grazing!
