I bought this for my Opie tank, but from Amazon, instead of this dealer.

Now that's a good deal, i was eyeing up a magfloat version of these and they are such a rip off. The one you picked looks very good, let us know how it works out when in use

The algae scraper arrived today. It's much larger than I thought it would be.

I wouldn't worry too much, aslong as you can scrape the algae on the front pane of your tank so you can see what's happening inside then its all good. I scrape my front glass maybe once every 3 or 4 months.

Thanks, Odin. I do have a forty five gallon turtle tank which will have to be upgraded to one hundred and possibly larger. I can always buy a smaller scraper and use that one on her tank if the. medium one becomes too awkward.
