Hi all!

I'm wondering if you could help me with latin names of hermit crabs that would be ok to keep in .13-.15 sg aquarium. My local store is giving me mixed information and I really do not want to harm anyone.

Afaik blue leg hermit crab aka Clibanarius tricolor should be ok, are there any additional hermit crabs that would do well?

Thanks!

There is also the Hawaiian hermit crabs. Shrimpmart used to sell them. I think those are the ones opae ula related has.

Also, I found this on Neale Monks' site about brackish aquariums: http://thebrackishtank.tumblr.com/post/ ... -species-c

Halocaridina is right, I got my first few from Shrimpmart and added a few more from the Big Island Hawaii that I caught for personal use.

I took a video of the natural habitat.
